First Cares for Our Military at Christmas 2011

5 boxes have been packed and ready to mail tomorrow--for troops who are still serving out of the states- 3 in Afg, 1 in Okinawa and a family in Kenya--- see attachments-You can't see the 50 pralines from Casa Torres or the homemade cookies/candy but they are in there... And 25, $25 giftcards to servicemen.  Join Adult 5 as they continue to send packages to those who are serving for our freedom.

In addition, Adult 6 added to the project by putting together 40 boxes for Kuwait.  This is a new addition to the ministry First has had.  Remember to stop today and say a prayer for those men and women who are representing America on foriegn soil.

"It is more blessed to give than to receive."  Words from our Lord.

My husband and I have been the recipients of such blessings! He received several care packages while he was deployed in Afghanistan this March through September (the pralines were a HIT!), and we recently got a gift card in the mail. What an honor it is to be lifted up in prayer and to see the provision of the Lord through His people. Thank you a thousand times over!
